Changeling Neo
AaBbCcDdEeFfGgHhIiJjKkLlMmNnOoPpQqRrSsTtUuVvWwXxYyZz
About this font
Changeling Neo (2008) picks up where Changeling (2003) left off, adding even more alternate characters, including high-waisted variants of f, P, and R; alternate r, y, G, Q, and Y (with forward- and back-slanted variants for the alternate y); alternate k, K, x, and X with more conventional forms; tabular figures; and even support for fractions, superscripts and subscripts. The alternate characters are available through the magic of OpenType, instead of hijacking locations meant for other characters (all of which have been added back in). If all this weren't enough, Changeling Neo has extensive language support for a wide range of Latin-based languages. Kerning has been completely revamped to give Changeling Neo perfect Seventies-style “tight but not touching” spacing. Changeling Neo comes in five styles: Light, Regular, Bold, Stencil, and Inline.

Felt Tip Woman

About this font
Felt Tip Woman (2003) is based on the handwriting of graphic designer Patricia Thompson. The name was inspired by a misunderstanding: Pat was working with the editor of a children’s book journal when she noticed that some type in one of the books they were reviewing was set in Felt Tip Roman. She pointed this out to the editor who replied, “Did you say Felt Tip Woman? What a strange name for a typeface.”
