About Casey

CabargaType logo

Part historian, part preacher, and part teacher, Zavier Cabarga worked early on under the name Handy Lettering Co., hand lettering art for advertising clients while working full-time as an illustrator. “Illustration always seemed difficult—lettering is easy and fun,” he said. Moving to the Macintosh enabled Cabarga to easily create digital fonts. “In many ways,” he said, “it’s the most satisfying thing I do.”
