Lotus Medium, which won 2nd prize at the 1987 Morisawa Awards International Typeface Design Competition, has been released as Lotus Eden, a typeface family composed of twenty fonts – ten weights each of Roman and Italic. Soft, smooth curves give this sans-serif design a simplicity and elegance. Each font has 639 glyphs and supports the following glyph sets: Mac OS Roman, Windows-1252 and Adobe Latin 3. Lotus Eden also supports OpenType features, such as small capitals, old-style figures, case-sensitive forms, fractions, superscripts, etc., for high-quality typography.
Through typeface designs, we aim to convey a meaning beyond the textual content. Typefaces that allow users to clearly convey their full meaning. Typefaces that both typesetters and readers will enjoy. These are the kind of typefaces that we aim to create.
