Yutaka Satoh 佐藤豊

Satoh was born in 1951 in downtown Tokyo. In 1986 he won the 1st prize at the 9th Ishii Awards Typeface Contest. In 1987 he won the 2nd prize in the Latin typeface category at the 2nd Morisawa Awards International Typeface Design Competition. In 1996 he won the Gold Prize at the 5th Morisawa Awards International Typeface Design Competition.
