He formerly worked at newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News, and The Oregonian. He has spent the last 14 years in the apparel business, where he’s worked for himself, mostly producing T-shirts for various retail stores, shipping nearly 1.5 million T-shirts along the way. As an occasional freelancer, Brian has done work for clients that include Nike, Nickelodeon, and Etnies. In 2010, he jumped back into writing — he co-wrote Pitch Anything (with Oren Klaff), a McGraw-Hill business book.
