Cyla Costa
Cyla Costa is a Brazilian graphic and type designer whose career bridges culture, identity, and expressive design. She studied at UFPR in Brazil, specialized in Creative Illustration at EINA (2007) and Editorial Design at Elisava (2008) in Barcelona, and later studied Typography at Cooper Union in New York (2014). She founded Cyla Costa Studio in Curitiba, Brazil, and with over 20 years of professional practice has become both a national and international reference in design and typography. Known for vibrant color palettes and visual versatility, her work has been widely recognized at the Latin American Design Awards, Brazilian Design Awards, Brazilian Design Biennial, Communication Arts, and the Type Directors Club. Her projects connect memory and cultural heritage with typographic innovation.
