Dan Rhatigan
Dan is a typographer with over 3 decades of eclectic experience as a typesetter, graphic designer, typeface designer, and educator. He worked with Monotype as a type director in London and New York, leading custom type projects for clients such as Salesforce, Southwest Airlines, CNN, and the NCAA. He later moved on to Adobe as the senior manager of its font development team, and now works as Type Network’s director of type products, and the founder of Bijou Type. Since 2009, Dan has published Pink Mince, a zine devoted to queer culture and typography, as well as online wikis for two ongoing type research projects, the Hot Type Club and LetraSlut. He is a member of the board of directors for the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum.
