Mark Simonson

Mark Simonson began as a designer and illustrator in 1976, veering into magazine art direction and design. In the 80s, he worked for Minnesota Public Radio and its sister company, Rivertown Trading Company. He did hand-lettering whenever he could and dabbled in type design since college. He began licensing fonts with FontHaus in 1992 and then on the web in 2000. He has been a full-time type designer since 2005 and has over 300 fonts on the market. He works from his home in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
