Nikola Kostić

Nikola grew up playing and learning in his father’s DTP studio, surrounded by the amazing world of the late 80’s graphic design. He got his master’s degree in graphic design from the University of Arts in Belgrade. Although he always loved drawing letters, designing an entire font family was a different story. This peculiar craft was something he grew to love only when he was in his thirties. He had to push himself hard so as to develop the discipline re-quired to master type design. He released his first font in 2011 and over the course of the next five years he designed more than a dozen typefaces.
He got the Certificate of Excellence for Chiavettieri in 2014 (Modern Cyrillic), and for Rizado Script in 2019 (Type Directors Club).
