Tomomi Kanda 神田友美

Ms. Kanda is a member of the Japan Typography Association and part-time lecturer at Nara College of Arts. She released FONT1000 “TA-Tsubaki” and “TA-Sakura,” Monotype “FOT Tsubame” and “FOT Kakkou,” Morisawa “TB Orb,” “TB Echo,” and “Shirotae,” and simplified Chinese fonts through FounderType. She also sells proprietary brand fonts “TM Mimosa” and “Koppe Palette with Color Font” through Design Pocket and BOOTH. Based on calligraphy studied since childhood, Ms. Kanda creates typefaces that are distinctive yet readable and beautiful.
