Khmer UI is a typeface designed for typesetting the Khmer language of Cambodia in the Khmer script. It is a simple, clearly legible design with wide character shapes, intended for reading onscreen. It has very little contrast between thick and thin strokes, and the character shapes tend to be straight-sided.
As its name suggests, Khmer UI was designed for user interfaces on computer screens. It has two weights, Regular and Bold, and no italic styles. The font includes capitals and lowercase letters for the Latin script, in a similarly plain and straightforward style based on the Segoe typeface. Khmer UI is not recommended for typesetting documents; it is only intended for use in user interfaces that have constrained vertical space.
