Manop is a typeface that Cadson Demak revived from LC Manop (Light Condensed Manop) from just a single weight to a Variable font (27 Styles). Manop is one of Manop Srisomporn’s most memorable typeface. Manop’s design was based off of distinctive characteristics from its predecessor. Manop also introduced alternate characters for users to pick and choose from in every weight. A system was also introduced to Manop to better organize the terminal endings. The designer has kept the original condensed proportion, along with its concealed loops which have been tweaked for usage on digital platforms.
Cadson Demak is a high-profile foundry and typographic consultancy in Thailand.
