Sandoll BaikzongYulPil is written with a colored pencil, resulting in a font that most resembles director Baik’s actual handwriting.
The font was created based on the handwriting of movie and commercial director Baik Jong Yul. The font minimizes any discomfort of the user by addressing the issue of the text appearing too heavy if the colored pencil’s texture is too emphasized.
Sandoll (산돌) is a leading font foundry in Korea. It has been developing nearly 600 fonts for about 40 years. The foundry has a variety of experiences of multi-language projects such as CJK development and matching Korean and other scripts.
