TA-Fuga Fude is a brush semi-cursive script font acquired under a non-exclusive license in November 1996 and was adopted for “Gradeo,” a total design software dedicated to sign displays released in April 1997. The original font names were “GF Gyosho EB” for Regular and “GF Gyosho M” for Light, but when font name prefixes were unified to “TA” in 2000, it was incorporated into the Fuga series as “TA-Fuga Fude.” *Half-width characters feature designs common to the brush fonts in the TA/TAw series.
