KCISA
The Korea Culture Information Service Agency (KCISA), a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, operates the Public Copyrighted Works Support Center and the KOGL (Korea Open Government License) system to facilitate the free use of public copyrighted works, including materials owned by government agencies, local governments, and public institutions, by individuals and businesses.
KOGL (Korea Open Government License) is a public copyright license system that allows institutions to open their copyrighted works under one of four KOGL types, making them widely accessible through an integrated service.
KCISA also curates and provides Public Safe Fonts—a collection of fonts with KOGL Type 1 designation, ensuring that they are safe and free for anyone to use.
These Public Safe Fonts feature high-quality designs that reflect the cultural value of the Korean language. They are available for commercial use, modification, and adaptation, provided that proper attribution is given.
