Taka Design Production are a collection of distinctive characters created by type designer Shinichi Takahara.
Each typeface is imbued with a human touch, offering the charm and warmth of hand-lettering. This quality lies at the heart of Takahara’s creative process and remains the consistent theme he has pursued throughout his career. Taka Design fonts are available through major providers such as Morisawa, Monotype, and Sandoll (Korea), as well as in China. A dedicated subscription service, “Taka Club,” has also been launched. To date, the collection comprises approximately 680 typefaces—including kana-only designs—almost all of which were created solely by Takahara himself. He remains committed to crafting beloved typefaces well into the future.
