About
Description

DNP has developed and maintained the Shueitai type family since the company started (as Shueisha) more than a century ago.
DNP Shuei Anti is a typeface with heavy kana syllabic characters. It has been used frequently for dictionary entries and speech bubbles in comic books. Shuei Anti has a different glyph shape structure from Shuei Mincho and the typeface is suitable for display purposes. When composed with kanji characters of a gothic typeface, it has a strong presence. Combined with Shuei Gothic in particular, the text will have a uniquely powerful message. (Shuei Anti incorporates the kanji glyphs of Shuei Gothic Kin B.)
