DNP has developed and maintained the Shueitai type family since the company started (as Shueisha) more than a century ago.
DNP Shuei Gothic was developed to be a legible and readable typeface for body text. Its kana design has two variations: Kin and Gin. The two variations can be used according to your needs.
Kin inherits the design of the existing Shuei Gothic typeface and has a bright and orthodox image, which can be used for a wide range of purposes. Gin shares the glyph structures of Shuei Mincho and is useful for composing long texts. Each of the variations has three weights: L, M and B.
