DNP has developed and maintained the Shueitai type family since the company started (as Shueisha) more than a century ago.
DNP Shuei Nijimi ShogoMincho is a typeface based on Shuei ShogoMincho with the “ink-bleeding effect” that reproduces the look of ink and paper. This effect adds a soft and nostalgic texture to the dignified impression of Shuei ShogoMincho, and allows for more profound and tasteful typographic expressions.
It is recommended to use this typeface with Higumin’s kana characters, as this typeface was developed in coordination with the Higumin typeface.
DNP has been developing and maintaining the Shueitai type family since the company started (as Shueisha) more than a century ago. Shueitai has been a consistently popular family among publishers and readers alike, thanks to its readability and graceful line drawing. The wide variety of styles packed into the Shueitai collection, including Mincho, Gothic, and Maru Gothic, makes it a fantastic selection for designers working across a wide range of projects.
