FOT-TsukuARdGothic Std is distinctly different from ordinary round gothic (rounded sans-serif) typefaces. It’s a round gothic (sans-serif) typeface with a modern feel. However, unlike many other modern designs, which have larger counter spaces, FOT-TsukuARdGothic Std has tightened, smaller counter spaces. Its kanji (ideographic) characters have strokes with rounded edges and smooth curves, instead of geometric shapes and straight lines, giving a warm feeling. Its kana syllabic characters are a neutral design. Using FOT-TsukuARdGothic Std, you can get especially good typeset results.

(The character “A” or “B” in each font name indicates a different design of kana characters. The kanji and other characters are shared commonly by both types of fonts.)
