Violeta is a type family designed for text, its bold and particular look find precedents in Baroque and Expressionism. These typographic styles references helped us to develop an organic structure, which understands that the diversity of features and exuberant formal resources are viable ways to provide a balanced and comfortable texture for immersive reading. The main characteristic of Violeta is its stark reverse contrast. Violeta has decanted slowly, without anxiety, completely oblivious to the passing moments of fashion or trends of disposable design, which have gained so much space in our culture. Each glyph in Violeta has had time to mature until it has reached its own expression.
The family consists of six weights, each on roman and italic, and also one illuminated upper case title style with three different floral patterns. Violeta has been designed for complex editorial uses, has many typographic refinements to delight the sharpest designers.
